Carnotaurus was a carnivorous theropod that lived around 110 to 90 million years ago during the Cretaceous period.
Carnotaurus means "flesh eating bull" because of the two horns on its head. It was named by Argentinean palaeontologist Jose Bonaparte in 1985. A fossil was found in Patagonia, Argentina.
